How a site gets built

Six stages, always in this order. Most studios start with a picture of a homepage. We start with what your customers came to do, because a beautiful page over a broken structure is just an expensive brochure.

Stage 01 — Frame

We map the skeleton

Before any design, we work out what the site is actually for. Who lands on it, what they need in the first ten seconds, and what you want them to do next — call, book, order, or walk in. We write the page structure and the real navigation, then map every piece of content you’ll need. Most businesses discover here that they need fewer pages than they thought, and better ones.

You get
A sitemap, page-by-page content plan, and the customer journey written out
We need from you
Half an hour on a call, plus any existing photos, logos, or copy
Typically 2–3 days
Stage 02 — Flesh

We design the surface

Now the visual work. We build a small design system for your business — a type scale, a colour palette, spacing rules, and button and card styles — rather than decorating pages one at a time. That’s why the finished site feels consistent instead of assembled. You see one direction done properly, not ten half-finished options to choose between.

You get
Full desktop and mobile designs, plus the design system behind them
We need from you
One round of honest feedback — what’s wrong, not what to change
Typically 3–5 days
Stage 03 — Nerve

We wire it by hand

Every site we ship is written, not dragged together in a page builder. That matters for reasons you feel later: it loads in well under a second, there’s no plugin bloat to break on update, and when you need a change it’s a small edit rather than a fight with a template. Forms, maps, booking links, and galleries get wired individually and tested as we go.

You get
A working site on a private preview link you can share
We need from you
Your domain details and any accounts we’ll connect to
Typically 4–7 days
Stage 04 — Pulse

We harden it

The stage most cheap sites skip. We test on real phones and tablets, not just a browser window resized. We run a full accessibility pass — keyboard navigation, colour contrast, screen-reader labels — so customers who need it can still use your site, and so you’re not exposed. Then we hold the page to a performance budget and cut anything that misses it.

You get
Cross-device QA, an accessibility pass, and search-engine basics set up
We need from you
Nothing — this one’s on us
Typically 1–2 days
Stage 05 — Ship

We hand it over

We point your domain, deploy, and confirm everything works on the live address — forms delivering, analytics recording, search engines able to read it. Then you get a short written handover covering how to update your own content and who to call when something looks wrong. Plain language, no jargon.

You get
A live site, the handover doc, and full ownership of everything
We need from you
A final yes, and thirty minutes to walk through it together
Launch day
Stage 06 — After

We stay on call

Launch day is the start of the job, not the end. Take the $50/month plan and we stay connected for as long as you keep it — hosting, monitoring, security updates, and the small edits every business needs: new prices, changed hours, a fresh set of photos, a seasonal offer. Email us and it’s done, usually the same day. No ticket system, no hourly billing, and no expiry date on the relationship.

You get
Hosting, monitoring, and unlimited minor edits — ongoing

What makes it professional

Four things separate a site that works from a site that merely exists.

Structure before decoration

A clear path from landing to enquiry beats a beautiful page nobody knows how to use. We settle the journey first, every time.

Built to be fast

Hand-written code, compressed images, no plugin bloat. Customers leave slow sites, and search engines rank them lower.

Usable by everyone

Keyboard navigation, honest colour contrast, proper labels. Accessibility isn’t a checkbox — it’s customers you’d otherwise turn away.

Yours to keep

You own the domain, the code, and the content. No proprietary builder holding your business hostage at renewal time.
